A visit with Great Grampa and Gramma Olthof

So Emily and Daryl bring Violet to my inlaws' house. As the report goes, she crabbed and cried until she was fed. A rare moment of peace, before she starts the complaining.
These guys are pros at rocking the kid to sleep.
A lullaby always works.
Goodness what a crab. But Daddy Daryl knows how to soothe her.
All better.
Is this what a changeling is? Didn't think so. Nursing moms probably understand that the visit will interrupt the schedule. Our little one unfortunately has inherited the intolerance to milk that we all share. Feed, crab, feed, sleep, crab, feed. And on and on.

Violet at three weeks

She cries a lot. A lot. Feeding seems to help, though.
Brown eyes. Looks like her daddy, Darrell Johns.
One more of us bonding.
She just stares at Grampa. What is that all about?
He says she squirms a lot. Must be true, because I can't get a clear shot.
